Live YOUR Life

How would it feel to be right and still be at the wrong side of the line (or was it the wrong side? who decides whats right or wrong anyway?)... We human beings are cursed and hence we come to this world . You don't believe me do you? Look around... there is so much of suffering... if you haven't been touched by them today...tomorrow you will be.You too will shed tears..Your heart will also  break. You too would want to give up,.You too might feel that you are on the wrong side of the line....Still you pick yourself up, 'coz tomorrow the sun will rise, the wind will blow and you will breath, to live another day.You will rise. You will smile, you will laugh. You will cry and you will fall, and the vicious circle will go on..unless one fine day the biggest truth of life will come and free you from all the misery - Death.

So, in this vicious circle what are we struggling to achieve? What are we running after? Perfection? Money and materialistic comforts? Eternal freedom , often referred to as moksha? We are here for about 60-70 years and that's just a small fraction when you consider the evolution of life.... and so many ahead of us have walked these paths... We have seen spiritual gurus attaining samadhi, we have seen riches and popularity, we have seen the greatest, the fastest, the bravest and the strongest. But don't they all end up six feet under, don't they? So is our life just worth repeating someone else's life?  If six feet under is where you end up eventually what is the purpose of all the struggle in life?... Then what is the purpose of life?

Yes you have to be a perfectionist, yes you have to be more right than wrong, yes you have to strive to attain the eternal bliss.... but none of those should make way for little joys of life.... you should be courageous enough to live your life...stand by what you believe in... you may be wrong in worlds eye..... but as long as you know that you haven't deliberately hurt a human soul, that you have done your best to bring a smile on others, that you have done what you loved to do..and you believe you weren't wrong you should be happy. So, go.....run the way you wanted to, eat what you like without being over worried about diet, smile, laugh out loud, feel the wind, smell the air, sing with the cuckoo, ...go.. tell that someone you love how much you love her...make sure you live your life.... coz tomorrow you might not be as fortunate as you are today.

  2. Nice one! Agree and to add to that - I believe that most of us, nowadays, just live our life so as to satisfy others be it our parents, friends, colleagues etc. I think its time that we change our mindset, stop worrying about what the society might think and start believing in yourself and living your life the way you want to. Be the change that you want to see.

Also, I often see people are so busy (or don't care) that they don't even know who their neighbors are (an example) - I think one should be more humane and atleast start smiling. If possible take an extra step and help as little as you can to those who are in need, this can be a great thing for the other person but may not mean you loosing anything.

I beg to disagree with this line - yes you have to be more right than wrong (If I interpreted it rightly :P) - If you believe in something it has to be right in your conscience irrespective of what others think!
